“We’re All Hypocrites!!!”

Sorry if my article sounded a little offensive to any of you, but truth to be told, after years of observations I believe that most of us act Hypocritically!
Let me ask you these questions:

Have you ever felt that you’re a Hypocrite?

Ever said or done something that goes against your believes?

Ever asked or advised somebody to do or abstain from something when you can’t even do it yourself, knowing that it’s the right thing?

Have you ever contradicted your own values with your own deeds and words?

A light at the end of the road ..
A hand stretched out for assistance ..
A voice inside you softly whispering:
“You finally made it!”

Flashbacks start playing in your head ..
Blurry pictures keep going through your mind
One after another, they continue
To let you remember how the road has been so rough ..

~

For a minute you stand still
Not actually noticing anyone around ..
With your eyes tightly shut
Savoring the images in your mind ..

~

Every hard path, and downhill road
Just managed to get you to where you belong ..
To the finish line of your lifetime journey
To that very goal everyone believed you’d never reach ..

~

This victorious feeling .. Is so incomparable
To any other achievement you once made ..
A jolt of happiness is being felt
For reaching what was said to be Impossible!

What Your Heart Desires…

A couple of days ago I’ve been watching television. I had the remote control in hand and I started moving from one channel to another hoping to find something interesting. I ended up watching a Jim Carry’s movie “Bruce Almighty”. Even that I’m not a fan of Jim Carry, but I told myself: “Why not, at least it’s something comedy and Morgan Freeman is there too!”
Anyway, I watched the movie for almost 10 minutes and then I heard them!
Those 11 words that left me entranced!

“Since when anyone have got a clue to what they want?”

I’m afraid I’m getting an overdose of excitement here!
This is the 4th award nomination I receive during this week!

I literally punched the air with my fist and shouted out “YEAAAH!!!” when I saw the nomination for this award … Childish behavior, I know

So, the 10 things about me are:

1. I’m that type of persons who always have a list for everything.

2. The only thing that I don’t have a list for is my favorite time of the day. It’s the early hours of the morning before the sunrise.

3. I love to see how the sun rises, it renews my hopes and energy and makes me think of many things to do in order to make a nice memory out of this day.

4. Unlike most girls do, I don’t enjoy shopping, especially when I intend to shop for something and end up going home after hours from searching without getting anything I want!

5. I’m trying to learn some Spanish these days.

6. I saw the movie “The Notebook” like 8 times before, and I’m ready to watch it all over again. I just LOVE it!

7. I love odd numbers, especially those who have 5 and 0 in them.

8. I have one amazing brother driving me crazy all the time, but I love him a lot

9. I have a lot of favorite colors, but BLUE is on the top.

10. I started writing song lyrics two years ago and till now I wrote 3 songs.

WoW !! This week is definately one of my best weeks ever! Next thursday I’ll be finishing this semester’s exams and now I found that I’ve been nominated for 4 awards in a matter of 5 days only. How amazing!

5. I get hit by inspiration mostly when I’m stuck in my exams – just like these day – I skip studying and start writing

I feel so insecure ..
Without you by my side
There’s a pain I can’t endure ..

I keep looking everywhere
Dying to find you ..
But you’re nowhere in sight
I feel the urge to follow you ..

I know it’s not your fault
You didn’t want it to be this way ..
You left me with no other choice
But to think of this every single day ..

To be with you, whatever it takes
To cross the borders between life and death ..
To throw myself in your arms
Even if it means taking my last breath ..
