I’m saying a little prayer, hoping to reach you above ..
Cause even though you’re not here, I know you’re near enough ..
I may not get to talk to you, the way I did before ..
But there’re a few things, of which I’m truly sure ..
You’re in my heart everyday and night ..
Your smiling face will resist the fading light ..
Everything you did and every word you said ..
Shall always remain as sweet memories in my head ..

Beautiful!!! My husband died years ago, and I can still draw his face in my mind. Thank you for sharing. I am enjoying your site.

May his soul rest in peace and heavens!
I wrote this poem as an attribute to my uncle who passed away 2 and a half years ago … It’s true that when you love someone so much you can keep them in your heart and mind without forgetting their unique features 🙂
Thanks a lot, I’m glad you enjoy it!

Thank you Parry for your sweet words and prayer! I was wondering who you were writing about. You cannot write something like this unless you truly feel it. I didn’t think it was just a poem.
I am sorry for the loss of your Uncle, you obviously thought very highly of him. He must have been one of the good ones. 🙂

You’re welcome, Christine.
